Kvistad described the event as the most severe attack that the agency has ever faced.

Despite this, the agency was able to maintain service availability almost continuously throughout the attack.

Server Killers announced their actions on Telegram, linking the attack to Norway's decision to renew its security cooperation with Ukraine in August. Just days before the cyberattack, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre had pledged significant financial support to Ukraine during a visit to Kyiv, along with commitments to collaborate on drone technology and other modern warfare techniques.
