Adobe, Veeam, and Juniper Networks have all taken significant steps to bolster the security of their products by releasing patches for a total of over three dozen vulnerabilities. The updates address numerous critical-severity flaws that could potentially lead to unauthorized code execution, privilege escalation, and other security breaches.

Adobe has rolled out patches for 12 vulnerabilities in products like Campaign Classic, Connect, Creative Cloud, and Substance 3D Painter. Among these, Campaign Classic saw fixes for eight critical issues, including code injection and incorrect authorization. These vulnerabilities, if exploited, could allow arbitrary code execution and privilege escalation. Importantly, Adobe notes that it is not aware of any active exploitation of these vulnerabilities in the wild.

Veeam has addressed nine security defects in its Backup for Microsoft 365, Backup & Replication, and other solutions. These include a critical flaw in Backup for Microsoft 365 that could permit cross-tenant data manipulation and remote code execution. A critical issue in Backup & Replication that allowed unauthorized access was also patched. Veeam assures that none of these vulnerabilities have been exploited in the wild.

Juniper Networks has patched 18 vulnerabilities in its Session Smart Router and Session Smart Conductor. These include critical flaws that could lead to unauthenticated command execution and privilege escalation. Additionally, high-severity vulnerabilities causing issues like code execution and denial-of-service were resolved. The company discovered these flaws internally and reports no known exploitation.

These updates emphasize the importance of timely patch management to prevent potential security breaches. Security teams are encouraged to deploy these patches promptly to safeguard their systems.
